Alison Green – Director
Alison grew up in Christchurch where she attended school and later Canterbury University, graduating L.L.B. in 1983.
Early work experience was with a Commercial Law firm in Wellington. Alison has been in practice in Palmerston North since 1986.
She is married with three children, all now adults, and lives on a rural property in the Kairanga District near Palmerston North.
Professional interests include Trusts and Asset Planning, particularly Farm Succession Planning as well as Business and Property Transactions.
Mary Spillane – BA/LLB and Associate Solicitor

Mary grew up in Christchurch and attended Canterbury University, graduation L.L.B and B.A (majoring in Japanese language) in 1992. She moved to the North Island for work shortly thereafter. She has lived and worked in the lower North Island since then.
She is married with four children and lives in the Tararua district on the family’s dairy farm.
Mary’s main area of practice is Relationship Property.
Karen Beckett – Legal Executive

Karen has worked in the legal industry for over 30 years and is a qualified Legal Executive. Karen assists our Relationship Property Lawyer as well managing Conveyancing, Wills and Powers of Attorney files. Karen pays particular attention to detail and enjoys the diversity of her role. In her spare time she enjoys exploring new places, golfing, walking and spending time with family and friends.
Tina Eames – Support Staff

Tina supports the TE Law team as a Legal Assistant and has held this position for the last 10 years. After changing her career from teaching to law, Tina enjoys being able to help others and really enjoys building a rapport with clients. Tina works in all aspects of conveyancing, managing estates and preparation of wills and powers of attorney. Outside of work Tina enjoys time on the farm, walking, reading and spending time with family and friends.
Sue Marett - Support Staff

Sue has been working in law offices since 1987 and has been working for Alison for 15 years.
Sue has helped set up our document management system and very much enjoys that part of her work.
Outside of work, Sue enjoys completing her many diy projects and entertaining for family and friends.
Nemesis Tanoa-Te Purei - Support Staff

Nemesis joined TE Law in January 2021 as an office junior and has worked her way up to her current position as a legal secretary/personal assistant. Nemesis is also our friendly face on reception greeting clients and answering calls. Nemesis is currently undertaking her legal executive diploma. Nemesis enjoys the variety of her position from relationship property to conveyancing, estates, wills and powers of attorney. Outside of work Nemesis enjoys spending time with her family, keeping fit at the gym and socialising with her friends.
